Justy: ...wait, no, that's not even true anymore. We said that like six days ago and it already got leapfrogged. Cody: Right. Which is exactly why, starting now, we're doing this every week. Justy: Yeah. Model Behavior. Every week, we stop chasing one shiny thing and look at the whole board. Cody: What actually shipped that week. Who's ahead, who's slipping, who's mostly noise, and where it seems to be going. Justy: And whether any of that matters if you're actually building on top of it. Which, come on, is the only part I ever care about. Cody: Mm-hm. Cody: Also, we call it. Out loud. Then our bad takes follow us around, which feels rude but fair. Justy: This is incredible for me. I get a standing weekly excuse to crown a new favorite before lunch steals the crown back. Cody: My whole thing was burying something on Wednesday, then watching it annoyingly win by Tuesday. My brand is suffering. Justy: This is such an Exploring Next problem. The show kept changing on us anyway, and now for once we're doing one on purpose. It even has a name. Cody: Okay, then here's the preview. By August, the boring default is ahead again and everybody acts surprised. Justy: Great. Mine is worse. I think at least one public work example flips to the cheap sensible option before summer's out, and I'm THRILLED to be judged for it. Cody: Kind of nice, honestly. After all these episodes, we finally stop once a week and notice how fast the floor is moving. Justy: Model Behavior. Every week, starting now. We'll see how long that call survives.
